The property

The MediaPark in Cologne was born in 1989 from a vision: to bring together living, working, and leisure in one place near the city center. Twelve years later, this dream was realized with the inauguration of the KölnTurm in the MediaPark. At 165 meters tall with 43 above-ground floors, the KölnTurm is the city’s tallest office building.
The KölnTurm is Cologne’s new landmark and the most striking building in MediaPark. It symbolizes the city of Cologne’s aspiration to be a center of the media industry. The design of the exterior façade—featuring the silhouette of the Old Town and large-scale cloud motifs—was created by the renowned Parisian architect Jean Nouvel. This lends the KölnTurm, as a standalone property, its unique exclusivity.
A new process was used for the creatively designed façade: The enamel paint for the silhouette motifs is fired into the glass panes, making it resistant to weather conditions. 400 different printing screens were used, so that the images appear to move as they reflect daylight—at the KölnTurm, even the façade becomes a medium.
A 400 m² office space on the 39th floor is available for sublease. The furnishings can be included in the lease or purchased separately.
Parking spaces are available for rent in the building’s underground garage.
