Cologne, March 1, 2023 Cologne-based real estate company celebrates its 15th anniversary. From a two-room office to a large real estate agency directly on the Rhine – over the past 15 years, the Cologne-based commercial real estate agency Larbig & Mortag Immobilien has become an established player in commercial real estate and investments in the Rhineland.
The company now employs over 35 people at its locations in Cologne, Bonn, and Leverkusen. Markus Larbig, who was born in Bonn, and Uwe Mortag, who was born in Leipzig, started their business at the beginning of March 2008. Since then, the Larbig & Mortag team has grown steadily and established itself as a local player in the Cologne commercial real estate market. Larbig & Mortag Immobilien GmbH is now celebrating its 15th anniversary this year.
Professional advice, personal interaction with clients, and finding the right property have been Larbig & Mortag's hallmarks since 2008. Analyzing and recognizing the customer's needs and not simply accepting "what is said" as the basis for the property search. "In times of home offices, sustainability, and ESG issues, the demand for advice from customers has increased enormously in recent years," says Uwe Mortag, who is responsible for the office leasing division. Especially in today's multi-crisis environment, trust, reliability, and transparency are valuable qualities for a modern company—and that is exactly what we have been practicing from the very beginning. "After 15 years, we have also reexamined our values and visions within the company and reorganized some of them. As a modern, dynamic, and local company with a focus on modern working environments and investments, it has long been insufficient to simply send out brochures and have a fancy website," says Managing Director Markus Larbig.
