Where something old breaks, something new will emerge

A block of buildings between Habsburgerring, Hahnenstraße, and Pilgrimstraße was demolished to make way for two new buildings on Rudolfplatz. The first office and commercial building, named "Wallarkarden" by Momeni Immobilien, offers approximately 20,000 square meters of commercial space.

As usual, office space is planned for the upper floors, and the ground floor will provide sufficient space for retailers and restaurants. Excavation work on this building has now begun and should be completed by next spring. It will have enough space for two basement floors, on top of which the foundations will then be poured. From there, construction of the eight planned floors can begin. Completion is scheduled for 2021, which means a delay of two years, as completion was originally planned for 2019.

The neighboring property, on which the second office and commercial building with an area of approximately 9,300 square meters will be built, was purchased by the Düsseldorf-based company Development Partner. similar to the first office building, a new eight-story building is to be constructed here. The two lower levels, as in the first property, will provide sufficient space for retail and restaurant outlets, while the upper floors will offer ample space for offices. However, due to the Christmas market on Rudolfplatz, excavation work on the site will not begin until January 2019. This means that work on the building structure is not expected to begin before fall 2019.
