This year's Trainee Day has taken place! This time, Larbig & Mortag Immobilien chose something very special. Just like every year, the trainees and students had no idea what to expect on the day.
In August/September, six new trainees started at LMI Cologne and Bonn alone. After much speculation and guesswork, they joined the trainees from imovo GmbH and conceptstories Immobilien on a trip to Langenfeld to visit 7th Space.
The 7th Space is a virtual reality experience world where you can enjoy many different attractions such as the 7th Box, Escape Games, Free Walk, Play Space, and much more. We were warmly welcomed with a delicious breakfast buffet and were able to fortify ourselves before the challenge. 7th Space made the entire hall available to us, because this year it wasn't creativity that was required , but skill and teamwork.
The first challenge was to form groups of four and show how you could solve all the puzzles in an escape game using teamwork. The special thing about this escape game was that everyone wore VR glasses. This took the challenge to a whole new level. Four people stood in a small playing area and used controllers to solve the puzzle and reach the goal with teamwork and skill. The highlight of 7th Space was the Survival Zombie game, which not only scared people and made one or two people scream, but also brought lots of happy faces and fun.
The day ended with everyone together in a restaurant with smiles on their faces. Overall, it was a successful day where everyone had fun and we all got to know each other better in a different environment than just at work.
